Martin Bradbeer

I am responsible for the Kompetenzzentrum Lehrsprache Englisch at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau.

I have been involved in English language teaching since 1989, having worked for many years at the British Council in Berlin. My previous job was at the Cornelsen Verlag as the Oxford University Press ELT Coordinator for Germany and Austria where I was able to get valuable insights into the publishing aspects of EFL materials.

I took an MBA course in International Management at the Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft, Berlin where my main subjects were Marketing, Intercultural Communications and Human Resource Management and wrote my dissertation on ‘Anglo-German intercultural relationships at a business level’.

I have the RSA Dip. TEFL from International House in London and went back there to take an intercultural training course in 2007.

I am also involved in EFL materials development, being the author of the Business Englisch Kurs published by Langenscheidt in 2005 and very much enjoy holding workshops and talks to help support the work of others involved in English language teaching.

I joined ELTABB in about 1995 and greatly value the benefits it brings to all its members.
