Saturday February 17th, 2018
Volkshochschule Pankow (Weißensee location), Bizetstraße 27, 13088 Berlin
Please join us for an interesting and practical workshop with Sandy Millin.
Using the internet for my professional development has completely changed the course of my career, and has influenced a lot of my thinking about teaching. It’s also led to me doing this session! In it, we’ll look at how to find the best resources available through Twitter, facebook, blogs and webinars, as well as how to fit online professional development around what you already do. We’ll also explore how you can get your voice out there too.
About Sandy: Sandy Millin is the Director of Studies at International House Bydgoszcz in Poland, as well as a CELTA trainer and a materials writer. She also teaches whenever she can! Sandy tweets @sandymillin and blogs at http://sandymillin.wordpress.com, where you can find out more information about her work.
The event is free for ELTABB members and VHS English trainers or €10 for non-members and guests.
Members please register on the Ning, non-members please register by emailing events@eltabb.com
