This is it, everybody, the biggest event on the ELTABB calendar!
The AGM is a chance for everybody to have a say in how ELTABB is run. All of you get to have an influence and input into what ELTABB actually is and how it’s actually run. You can vote on who composes our board – or put yourself forward for election if you would like to help us all keep ELTABB as wonderful as it is.*
Roles to fill:
ELTABB Chair/Vice Chair ELTABB Recording Secretary
ELTABB Treasurer
ELTABB Events Coordinator
ELTABB Membership Coordinator
If you are interested in any of the roles, please send an email to thechair@eltabb.com.
* This is not a snooty ‘If you think you can do it better, do it yourself’. The ELTABB board is composed of volunteers, and sometimes we find new jobs, move cities, or find ourselves swamped with work. Anybody who wants to help out is really appreciated! In particular, we’re looking for an events coordinator (or two, if you want to share the workload). Please – we’d love it if you put yourself forward!

A Brief Journey into the Science of Learning and How It Applies to Foreign Language Learning
Abstract: In this session, Carolina will take the audience on a journey that explores how our memory works and how we can use this knowledge to tweak foreign language teaching. She will share research insights on human learning that can directly inform activities in the classroom and provide hands-on practical tips. There will be demonstrations to experience the learning strategies, and the audience will leave the session inspired and ready to apply new ideas.
