I am a teacher-trainer and English Language Teacher based in Lübeck, Germany. I work on initial teacher-training courses (Cambridge ESOL CELTA) in Hamburg and Berlin, in-service specialist teacher-training courses and other teacher development projects.
I hold a first degree in English language and literature, the Cambridge ESOL DELTA, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education with Qualified Teacher Status in the UK state education sector and am pursuing an MA in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching. My professional interests include using technology for teacher education as well as approaches to “teaching unplugged“.
I have been a member of ELTABB for nine years and am a former board member. I enjoy writing reviews and articles for professional journals (including English Teaching Matters). In any spare time, I enjoy running, fencing and being in the mountains.
