This year ELTABB is very excited to be a part of the 3rd IATEFL BESIG Online Symposium.
The event will be started with Japan and work its way west across the globe to highlight the cultural diversity of BESIG. The theme from Michael Carrier’s Iasi keynote was chosen and Future-proofing Business English Teaching is going to bediscussed. Michael himself will open the event give a brief introduction.
Each member group will have a speaker to discuss future directions in ELT. After, 1 or 2 moderators from each group will bring up a swap-shop question, based around the previous topic and moderate a “live” chat discussion which can be further discussed on BESIG Facebook group.
ELTABB moderators:
Yuliya Shtaltovna, MA in Teaching ESP and Adult Education, PhD in Linguistucs, has 13 years of teaching Business English Communication for corporate sector and Universities.
Jin Choi is a freelance English and Korean instructor, currently teaching mainly at schools like VHS Spandau and PICC. She is also ELTABB Communications Coordinator.
Speaker:Galina Khinchuk is a freelance General, Business English and ESP instructor, currently teaching in Fach und Berufschule BAWI in Berlin. She is also on ELTABB events team.
