The greatest challenge I’ve faced as a freelance teacher and materials writer has been managing my workload. On the one hand, I need to pay the rent but, on the other hand, I’m no use to anyone if I’m exhausted all the time. Sound familiar?
Striking a balance between these two extremes had proven elusive to me until I started doing some personal development work. In this session, I’d like to introduce you to some techniques I have learned during that (ongoing) process and give you the chance to try them out for yourself.
We will look at and try out methods for:
- freeing up more time
- identifying how you want to spend your time
- creating more balance in your life
- becoming more assertive and using the power of ‘no’
By the end of the session, you will have decided what a ‘fulfilled life’ would look like for you, identified steps you can take to move closer to that ‘fulfilled life’ and have reconsidered the basis for the work-related decisions you make.
